FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Are the sessions online or in-person?

During the covid pandemic, all sessions are held online. ​

  • What types of clients have you worked with?

Basketball teams, swim-teams, ​divers, triathletes, surfers, entrepreneurs, rock climbers, dancers, and soccer teams.

  • How much does it cost?

Please get in touch to discuss the process and cost, happy to discuss options that works the best for you. 

  • Do you accept insurance?

I do not have the capacity to accept insurance.

  • How often are the sessions?

That depends on a number of factors, generally once to three times a week.

WORKING TOGETHER

  • After a free 20 minute consultation, we determine if we are a good fit for each other. If we are not, I will explain why and do my best to find the resource(s) that are a better fit for you.

  • Every client is different, and I design & cater to meet each client's needs. 

CLIENT CENTERED 

  • I do not have a cookie cutter approach. All the techniques and teachings are centered and designed for you. 

  • Change can be difficult, and I will encourage you to adapt a perspective of learning and growing.

  • When life gets uncomfortable, those are powerful moments to learn from.

LIFE & ATHLETICS

  • For over 15 years, I have helped clients overcome fears, build confidence, develop leadership skills, have effective communication, build teamwork, and develop character.

 

  • My athletic career started with soccer at age 10, and I discovered rock climbing at age 15. I was a natural rock climber. I loved the intensity, focus, and how I was able to be in the FLOW. 

 

  • Much like surfing, I taught myself how-to snowboard. I love the cold air, making fresh tracks, and pushing my limits on the waves and on the mountains. 

DAILY MEDITATION PRACTITIONER

  • As a daily meditation practitioner, sitting down, focusing on my breath, observing my mind, and going inward.

  • A meditation practice helps with building awareness, manage emotions, feel grounded, be present, increases creativity, tolerance and patience. 

EDUCATION

  • Masters in Sports Psychology. 

  • Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and minor in African American Studies.
